Bike4Show, EICMA Show, Milan




World road race champion Paolo Bettini will ride Bike4Show during the Milan bike show wearing a special jersey for the four days of racing.

The racing will be held in Hall 7 at the Milan Exhibition centre on a specially built track. Bettini will ride with six-day specialist Marco Villa and wear a special jersey carrying the Expo 2015 Milano logo

The Italian city is a leading candidate to host the Expo event and the Italian two-wheel industry is pleased to be able to support the bid via the track racing.

Bike4Show, the four days of racing will be based on a six-day event, starting on November 8 at 11am. Racing will be held every day, with visitors to the bike show able to see the racing for free as part of their day at the bike show.

15 teams will take part in the action.
As well as Bettini-Villa there are Ballan-Pozzato, Baldato-Napolitano, Popovych-Zagorodny, Quaranta-Biolo, Bertolini-Gasparotto, Ermeti-Murro and other talented riders.

Double World Road Race Champion Paolo Bettini and his partner Marco Villa (Expo 2015) have stole the show at the Bike4Show (EICMA Show) in Milan taking the victory on the final night of competition from early leaders Angelo Ciccone and Fabio Masotti (Emo) with Filippo Pozzato and Alessandro Ballan (Daihatsu) taking third place overall, after some very exciting racing at the specially constructed Milan Velodrome

After two days of the Bike4Show (EICMA Show) in Milan Angelo Ciccone and Fabio Masotti (Emo) are still in the lead on 79pts but second placed Filippo Pozzato and Alessandro Ballan (Daihatsu) have moved closer to them on 68pts. Both teams are still one lap ahead of third placed World Road Race Champion Paolo Bettini and Marco Villa (Expo 2015).

Day One of the Bike4Show (EICMA Show) in Milan saw Angelo Ciccone and Fabio Masotti (Emo) score 62pts, to build a comfortable lead over Filippo Pozzato and Alessandro Ballan (Daihatsu) who have 46pts. The top two teams are one lap ahead of third placed World Road Race Champion Paolo Bettini and Marco Villa (Expo 2015), Danilo Napolitano and Fabio Baldato are three laps back after crashing
