Day Five - Risi/Marvulli back in Control

Marvulli
Risi/Marvulli are now one lap up on the field

Even though they have led from the start of the competition, Bruno Risi and Franco Marvulli stamped their authority back over their rivals at the Zesdaagse Noorden in the Netherlands after re-taking a lap on the field

The World Madison Champions had been on the same lap as their rivals for Day Three/Four after Alexander Aeschbach and Christian Grasmann regained a lap on Day Three, with Villa/Ciccone and Andreas Beikirch/Aart Vierhouten doing the same on Day Four

However the Swiss Duo's superior points total saw them hold onto the lead on each night and Day Five's dominate performance meant they move into the final night of competition with one lap's advantage over the rest of the field
