The Dolan DF3 (New ARC)![]() 2008 sees the release of the New Dolan Arc, the Dolan DF3 After the huge success of the original Arc, Terry Dolan decided to create his own mould rather than base his version on Peter Teschner's Teschner Track Pro Trying to improve a frame that was already far superior to others on the market was a hard task to undertake, but following extensive help from Craig Maclean and British Cycling's Sprint Coach Iain Dyer, Velodrome.org.uk can exclusively reveal that Terry Dolan shall debut the DF3 at Revolution 19
The Dolan DF3 in World Champion Colours Over the last two years Maclean and Dyer have been instrumental in ironing out any of the small issues that existed with the original ARC. Two prototype models of the DF3 were sent to the British Sprint Academy for testing, and after extensive development the 'New Dolan Arc' has finally become reality
The Dolan DF3 in GB Academy Colours Some of the developments that the DF3 includes are a Rounded Seat Post Clamping System to improve change and adjustment of the seat post. In order to allow for more clearance for Mavic Disc Wheels, Adjusters have been added to the Rear Dropouts
Thicker Chainstays and Adjusters on the Rear Dropouts The Dolan DF3 is suitable for all types of riders, even though the bike is one of the lightest on the market, it is still able to cope with powerhouse sprinters such as Maclean who output 2200 watts. The DF3 is even stiffer than the ARC and with the addition of thicker chainstays the frame can give all riders confidence that they will be riding the ultimate in performance design |
