Katie Curtis: My Euros
It was a fantastic championships, with many
European Jerseys and Medals won by the Great British team.
On Saturday I managed to see Jonny Bellis get his win
the Gold medal in the Scratch race, followed by Lizzie Armitstead get the
silver in the under 23 points race. In the morning Alex Greenfield managed to
surprise herself when she got told minutes after the race had finished, that
she had won! We were all so happy for her including Katie Colclough who was
able to lend a helping hand in the closing stages.
On Sunday I saw Anna Blyth get her victory in the Keirin. I managed to recover
enough to help Lizzie get her jersey in the under 23 scratch... that was such
hard 2 laps!!
There were also other medals and jerseys won but I wasnt able to see them as I
had to concentrate on my races.
