Russia's Mikhail Ignatiev took victory in the 4km Individual Pursuit in a time of 4m 30.60s beating his
rival on the Lokomotiv team, Artur Ershov who was seven seconds slower in 4m 37.40s.
However Ignatiev did not form part of the victorious Moscow Team Pursuit squad

Trois Jours d'Aigle
Riding in his first race since joining the World Cycling Centre in Switzerland, Ireland's Kieran Leahy produced some encouraging results
in what is the start of his 'New Season'. Racing in the 3 Jours d'Aigle Leahy set a 200m TT time of 11.2s, which despite being a lot slower than his 10.5s pb,
was evidence that Leahy is back on track more........

Irish National Champs
Despite rain repeatedly trying to cancel
the Irish National Track Championships, the crowds at Eamonn Ceannt Park, Dublin
were treated to some exciting racing. As you all know, track cycling in Ireland is
still in the early stages of development and so the National Championships
still allows for beginners to mingle with the riders that compose the small
