Vicky and Chris Defend Titles
Victoria Pendleton and Chris Hoy have
successfully defended their 500m and Kilo Time Trial titles at
the British National Track Championship's at Manchester

Vicky easily claimed victory
beating her closest rival World and Junior National Champion Anna
Blyth by two seconds, finishing with a time of 34.621s in
a new British Record.
Recent World Masters Champion Janet
Birkmyre took the bronze medal with yet another impressive ride.
Meanwhile in the Men's Kilo TT World,
Commonwealth and Olympic Champion Chris Hoy defended his title
with ease, beating Rob Hayles
into second with a time of 1m 02.725s to Hayles'
1m 05.268s
Chris
Hoy on his way to only his second ever Kilo National
Title
Even though Hoy claimed the
title by nearly three seconds, the competition was extremely
close with rider's needing a sub 1m 07.5s time to break into
the top ten.
