Palma velodrome, Palma Arena, is conceived as a multi-disciplinary facility, with cycling as the main sport. It is equipped with the latest sports facilities technology.

Sander Douma, a prestigious Dutch architect who specialised in velodromes, has given shape to this great project, combining sports functionality with an attractive design.

The facility’s main characteristics are:

• 16.000 square metres of total built-up surface.
• 5000 seats.
• 350 parking spaces.
• 17-metre-high roof
• 2 adjoining buildings for the location of offices, accommodation for sports people, shops, restaurants...

The track characteristics are as follows:

• 250 metres inside lane.
• 13º inclination on straight and 44º on bends.
