
Dolan's Andy Fenn Wins Paris RoubaixDolan rider Andy Fenn has claimed victory in the 2008 Junior Paris Roubaix, after timing his attack to perfection to ride to his biggest win to date The 2006-07 DHL Future Stars champion caught the last rider from a breakaway group in the final kilometre to enter the velodrome alone "It was awesome" Andy told British Cycling afterwards as he described the moment he entered the velodrome on his own. "I went on one of the cobbled sections and started to pick off the riders one by one in front of me. I got to the second last rider with 6k to go and caught the final rider in the last kilometre. I attacked him straight away as he had been out front all day and I knew he was going to be tired." Many tip the Olympic Development Programme member as being Britain's long sought after star on the road, and with Fenn coming from a background on the track he will surely have a big future on the boards aswell Velodrome.org.uk spoke to Terry Dolan who commented "Andy is a great lad and this success is well deserved for all the hard effort he puts into his training." "We've supported him for a few years now and I'm sure this win shall be followed by many more!"
