7th October 2010: Franco Marvulli produced an impressive display of riding with his new Madison partner, Loic Perizzolo to claim the Swiss National Madison Championships at the UCI World Cycling Centre, in Aigle, Switzerland.
The pair dominated the 50km race, lapping the field with Alexander Aeschbach and Claudio Imhof, however Marvulli and Perizzolo’s superior points tally meant they became National Champions.
Bronze went to Tristan Marguet and Dominique Stark, who despite having the most points, finished a lap down on teams of Marvulli/Perizzolo and Aeschbach/Imhof.
