301 Riders Take on the World

301 Riders from 36 Countries have entered the 2007 Worlds

On Wednesday 21st March the list of those registered for the 2007 World Track Cycling Championship closed. It comprises a total of 301 riders from 36 different countries.

Germany is by far the country that is bidding highest for this competition, as it has registered a total of 22 riders. It is followed by Spain and Australia with 19 riders enrolled, and France and Great Britain with 18. By contrast, countries such as Norway and Ireland, among others, were only able to register a single rider.

The World Championships take place in Palma de Mallorca from 29 March to 1 April.
